Jamie & Theodore

Looking back on six years together, it seems almost impossible for Theo and Jamie’s paths not to have crossed. When Jamie was in her first year at Rollins College, she met the Residential Assistant for her dormitory, Skylar Knight, who became one of her closest friends and just so happened to also be best friends with a good looking Greek guy who was studying abroad in France at the time. Fast forward another semester and that same guy moved into her brother Ben’s apartment after returning from France. Jamie was moving Ben back in to his apartment after the holiday break when she introduced herself to this handsome, kind - and at first a little shy - guy she had heard so much about. Little did they know that first meeting in Ben’s apartment would turn into hangouts with mutual friends, long nights studying together in the library, and eventually a deep love and partnership.

Since that time, Theo and Jamie have been with each other through many of life’s ups and downs. They dated long distance for three years while Theo earned his law degree and Jamie finished her Bachelors degree which both of them can attest truly did make the heart grow fonder. Theo then supported Jamie through her graduate program at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, learning to navigate life in a new city together and that they make a great team. In November of 2023, Theo took Jamie to France, where she had always hoped to visit since she could remember. It was in the small private garden of a chateau in the Loire Valley that he asked her to marry him and Jamie of course said yes. Theo and Jamie have celebrated six years of love and friendship together and couldn’t be more excited to start their journey as husband and wife!
